Rounds play out on everyone’s screen so the result feels earned.
Why ranking works
First-past-the-post voting can crown a polarizing option when the group splits. Ranked Voting can keep looking until a broader favorite emerges.
Share the result
Knowing who won is only half the story. The consensus meter shows how the group felt about the winner — was it a landslide, a solid compromise, or a divisive pick? Every ballot adds one colored band, ordered from strongest to weakest support, so the result reads like a compact stacked bar.
It is built from plain text and emoji, so the same artifact drops cleanly into any group chat or social post. Ballots never leave the host — only the aggregate band counts are shared, so no one’s individual vote is ever exposed.

Built on Cloudflare
Bestof uses Cloudflare as its public infrastructure layer so group votes can stay fast, resilient, and protected as more people host decisions across different networks.
The Bestof marketing and join-link experience is deployed as a Cloudflare Pages site for fast, cacheable delivery close to visitors.
Remote participants connect through a Cloudflare Worker relay when local peer-to-peer voting is not possible.
Each relayed vote is routed to a Durable Object session coordinator, keeping connections together while the app preserves its privacy-first voting model.
